Joanna is an artist and designer who specialises in the creation of mosaic artworks for public spaces. She delights in the jewel-like qualities of glass and ceramic tesserae and the richness of colour and texture that can be achieved in this media. She is passionate about creating artwork for health care settings, which includes a recent large scale piece for the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield as well as the Royal Plaque for the award winning programme at Withington Community Hospital, Manchester, managed by LIME.

She will be creating a small number of sumptuously coloured mosaic panels inspired by Venetian glass millefiore. The panels will be organic in shape with images reminiscent of abstracted plant motifs.
